Not Sure which uniform to wear at various scouting events?
Ask your leaders if your not sure, but described below is a general description.
What is the Class A uniform?
The Class A uniform is composed of the official blue button-up Cub Scout shirt (or the official khaki Boy Scout shirt for Webelos), with appropriate patches and badges, blue pants (either long or short, blue school uniform pants are acceptable – Pack 162 prefers green for Webelos Scouts), cub scout neckerchief and slide, cub scout belt, and cub scout hat. The Class A uniform should be worn whenever the scouts are interacting in their capacity as Cub Scouts with the general public, or whenever the occasion is considered to be formal or official. For instance, Class A uniforms are always worn at Parades, Pack meetings, fundraisers (not all however ie. Car Wash – Class B is worn), and Cub Scout hosted festivals and events.
Although not required for most events, the ONLY event that the Class A uniform is required is when participating in Parades
