Venturing is a co-ed, high adventure group for young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20.  Venturning is one of many programs comprising the Boy Scouts of America.

Venturers learn outdoor and service skills in a wide variety of settings.
Focus is on learning and PRACTICING leadership.

Venturing has a rich advancement system that is optimized for the young adult.  This advancement system is similar, but it often goes into a subject in more detail that the Boy Scout advancement system.  Venturing's top award - Silver Award - has the same prestige as the more recognized Boy Scout Eagle rank.
