Troop 46 visited Boston over Columbus Day Weekend. Our group consisted of eight scouts, four siblings, and eight parents. We stayed in a cabin at Camp Sayre in Milton, MA. The first day we hiked the Freedom Trail from the Boston Commons to the USS Constitution; earning the Freedom Trail Patch along the way by completing the worksheet. The second day we explored the Science Museum and took a Duck Tour on Molly Molasses. All of the younger scouts and younger siblings took a turn driving while we were out on the Charles River. The third day the families split up with one going to Lexington & Concord and two going to the New England Aquarium. One group also hiked to and across the Harvard Bridge along the river front on the Boston side and then toured MIT before heading home.
